About the role Heidelberg Graphics (Thailand) Limited is seeking an Application Specialist - Postpress Machines to join our technical team. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Postpress solutions for packaging printing , including cutting, folding, binding, inspection systems, and finishing equipment under the MK Masterwork brand. The key job role are related but not limited to; Technical Support & Application Expertise: Provide technical support for Postpress equipment . Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Sales teams to support sales activities, deliver application expertise, and recommend solutions that meet customer requirements. Equipment Demonstrations: Prepare, configure, and conduct equipment demonstrations tailored to specific customer applications. Ensure machine capabilities and value propositions are effectively showcased to support customer decision-making and drive sales opportunities. Customer Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their operational needs and challenges. Provide timely technical advice, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver solutions that enhance customer confidence, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty. Key responsibilities Act as the specialist for Postpress machines, providing solutions, advice, and troubleshooting support to all stakeholders, including resolving customer issues effectively. Identify bottlenecks in customers’ packaging workflows, particularly in Postpress processes, and advise on optimal handling of equipment to enhance efficiency. Gather customer requirements and coordinate with the Heidelberg team to conduct trial runs tailored to customer specifications. Train customer's operators on the use of equipment to ensure they are proficient in machine handling and operation. Identify gaps and root causes of customer dissatisfaction, recommend improvements, and contribute to enhancing service delivery for both internal and external customers. Ensure all application work and demonstrations are conducted in alignment with safety regulations. Collaborate with the Sales team on market opportunities, staying informed about product advancements and participating in promotional activities, including Open Houses, seminars, product launches, and training programs. Provide support for technical services related to Postpress machines as needed. Prepare and submit service reports documenting customer issues, root cause analysis, troubleshooting activities, solutions provided, and recommendations following application support, consultation, or problem resolution. Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Superior. Who are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology or related field. At least 3 years of experience in product support or technical service role, with a focus on Postpress machines for offset prints or related products. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively. Proficient in both Thai / English Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
