Role Overview We are looking for a results-driven Manager – Business Development (APAC) to expand our client base and drive revenue growth in the Hong Kong and regional markets. The role focuses on identifying, acquiring, and nurturing corporate clients who require cross-border payments, FX, and related fintech solutions. You will play a key role in building strategic partnerships and strengthening our presence in the competitive payments and FX landscape. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new corporate and SME clients for cross-border payments, FX services, multi-currency accounts, and related solutions. Identify and pursue high-potential leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and targeted outreach. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their payment and treasury needs and positioning Harbour and Hills solutions effectively. Achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets. Collaborate with product, compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of tailored solutions. Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings. Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial terms aligned with company pricing and risk policies. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the payments and FX space to identify new opportunities. Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management. Prepare monthly presentations on sales performance and step-up plans. Support the development of strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions where relevant. Requirements Essential Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within financial services, preferably in payments, FX, trade finance, or fintech. Proven track record of acquiring and growing corporate client relationships and meeting revenue targets. Strong understanding of cross-border payments, FX products, SWIFT, and the Hong Kong financial regulatory environment (knowledge of MSO requirements is an advantage). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly preferred. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Strong networking ability and existing contacts in the corporate, SME, or financial services sectors in Hong Kong/Asia would be a significant plus. Desirable Experience working with licensed money service operators, payment service providers, or banks. Familiarity with compliance, AML/KYC processes, and onboarding of corporate clients. Existing professional network in Hong Kong’s trading, import/export, or corporate treasury communities.
