Procurement Officer (Aerospace/Equipment)

Position: Procurement Officer - Direct Material Reporting to: Manager Location: SAM Precision (Thailand) Limited., Chon Buri Plant, Roles and Responsibilities: Scope: Material planning and Purchasing Analyze and evaluate the material requirement plan to satisfy customer needs taking into account the supply constraints. Review MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and create feasible 2 months material plans for the factory under responsibility taking into account production constraints and relevant lead time. Balance the need for material availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks at the right time/location. Control inventory level per company’s goal and clean up aging, inactive/reject inventory. Identify issues/ opportunities concerning major events e.g. factory shutdowns, transition of old/new part or products and etc. Analyze and proactive communicate Finished goods and Material supply issues to relevant parties with proposal to minimize it. Analyze relevant material supply parameters and seek for improvements on regular basis e.g. MOQ, Lead time, Lean concept, etc. Owner responsibility for Purchase requisition, Purchase order, material delivery, inventory and supplier performance evaluation. Ensure material planning and purchasing procedure update and align with company compliance and EHS. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of working experiences in Material planning, Purchasing within a manufacturing environment. At least 3 years of experience directly responsible on material planning or purchasing position is preferred. Knowledge on MRP (Material Requirement Planning). Knowledge on Inventory management is plus. Good command in English both speaking and writing is preferred(able to work with foreigner colleague). Computer literacy and Excel are required. Experience or familiar with Oracle system is preferred. Proactive, result oriented and teamwork style is preferred. Working Hours: Mon - Fri 08:00 - 17.15 Flexible Hour
