Role: We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support a leading global data and technology client. You will join a product engineering environment and work on customer-facing and internal platforms supporting integration and security-focused projects for regulated banking environments. This is a backend-led full-stack role, with a strong focus on PHP services, APIs and system integrations, alongside React frontend development. You will contribute across the full software-development lifecycle—from requirements and solution design through testing, deployment and production support. Responsibilities: Design, build, test and deploy applications using PHP, React, MySQL and AWS. Develop backend services, APIs and system integrations. Build and maintain frontend features using React. Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. Design application components, database structures and integration flows. Write automated tests to improve release quality and reduce regression issues. Maintain clear system, application and API documentation. Use approved generative AI tools for test creation, refactoring, documentation and code explanation. Contribute to selected AI-enabled initiatives, including AI-assisted testing and potential RAG use cases. Required Skills: 5 years of commercial software development experience. Strong commercial experience developing backend applications using PHP. Hands-on experience developing frontend applications using React. Experience designing and delivering APIs or system integrations. Strong understanding of object-orientated programming and application design. Experience working with relational databases, ideally MySQL. Commercial experience supporting applications hosted on AWS.
