Based in Sockburn, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of commercial facilities throughout Canterbury, delivering reactive maintenance, preventative maintenance, fault finding, minor installations and upgrade works. You'll be supported by an experienced team while enjoying the autonomy to manage your day-to-day workload and build strong relationships with clients. What's In It For You? ✅ Guaranteed 44 hours per week ✅ Free Life & Income Protection Insurance ✅ Discounted Medical Insurance ✅ Marram Trust benefits ✅ Company smartphone and tablet ✅ Ongoing training and development ✅ Career progression opportunities within a global organisation ✅ Diverse commercial sites and systems About the Role You'll be responsible for: Reactive HVAC and refrigeration maintenance Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Fault finding and diagnostics Minor installations and upgrade works Commissioning and recommissioning activities Maintaining accurate job records via tablet/iPad Delivering exceptional customer service Working safely and complying with Health & Safety requirements Supporting wider trades teams when required Essential Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have: NZ Electrical Registration/Licence or EST (Electrical Service Technician) Limited Licence Refrigerant Handling / Approved Filler Certification Height Safety competency EWP (Elevated Work Platform) competency Full NZ Driver's Licence Minimum 3 years' HVAC/Refrigeration industry experience Please note: Candidates without an electrical qualification or licence cannot be considered for this role. We're Looking For Someone Who Has HVAC/Refrigeration trade qualifications Commercial HVAC maintenance experience Experience with VRF/VRV systems, DX units and commercial HVAC equipment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills A strong commitment to Health & Safety A positive, team-first attitude Confidence working directly with customers The ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience using tablets and mobile job management systems Highly Regarded NZ HVAC/Refrigeration qualification Experience working within facilities management environments Experience across retail, education, government or healthcare sites Exposure to chillers, air handling units and water-cooled systems About Us Cushman & Wakefield is one of the world's leading property and facilities management companies.
