1. Cross-border Business Liaison with Japanese Suppliers (Fluent Japanese mandatory) Independently communicate with second-hand camera, watch and luxury handbag suppliers across Japan via written and spoken Japanese; conduct business negotiations, price enquiries and order verification; compile Japanese procurement documents; nurture stable Japanese supply channels; translate industry product literature; coordinate all pre-import business procedures for cross-border goods. 2. Authentication & Quality Control for Pre-Owned Photography Equipment Conduct authenticity verification, condition assessment, fault diagnosis and market valuation for all in-store cameras, lenses and photographic accessories; formulate incoming quality inspection standards, review authentication reports; resolve technical enquiries from high-end customers; oversee overall quality of all photographic inventory. 3. Technical Oversight for Luxury Watch Strap & Designer Leather Goods Restoration Perform full-spectrum after-sales restoration services including leather watch strap repair, designer bag leather refinishing, scratch touch-up, metal hardware conditioning and waterproof treatment; draw up standard operating procedures for in-store restoration work; monitor workmanship quality; resolve complex leather repair requests from premium clientele. 4. Inventory Coordination & In-Store Technical Management Maintain inventory ledgers for photography gear, leather goods and watches aligned with Japan procurement plans; attend to high-end customers and provide professional consultation on camera selection and luxury item maintenance; compile technical dossiers for all stock; report Japanese market pricing trends and luxury restoration industry updates to senior management. 5. Internal Technical Training & Process Optimisation Standardise operational workflows for pre-owned camera authentication and leather goods restoration; train junior store staff on basic item identification and simple restoration techniques; refine the store’s overall technical operation framework. Job Requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree or above; JLPT N1 / N2 certification with proficient Japanese business proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing; capable of independent liaison with Japanese overseas supply chains. 2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on working experience in pre-owned camera & lens authentication, valuation and quality control. 3. Minimum 3 years of professional hands-on experience in restoration and maintenance of high-end leather luxury goods and watch leather straps. 4. In-depth knowledge of the second-hand photography and luxury goods markets in China and Japan, with basic understanding of cross-border procurement workflows with Japan. 5. Fluent conversational Cantonese and Mandarin.
