Video and Playback Editor

We are looking for a Video and Playback Editor to support news programs and television shows . The role involves editing video content and preparing media files for live or recorded broadcast, ensuring smooth playback and high production quality across TV and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities Prepare, organize, and sequence video content for live and recorded playback Encode and export videos in the correct format for broadcast and playout systems Edit raw footage into show segments, promos, teasers, sponsor inserts, and highlights Apply basic color correction, audio balancing, transitions, and text overlays Create intro/outro videos, countdowns, and basic graphics following brand guidelines Check all videos for quality, audio-visual sync, and technical errors before airing Manage and organize media files, projects, and backups Coordinate with producers, technical directors, and production teams during live or time-sensitive broadcasts Respond to last-minute edits, timing changes, or playback adjustments Qualifications Graduate of related course or 3 years of relevant work experience Experience in video editing and playback preparation for TV, news, or media production Familiarity with broadcast formats, codecs, and resolution standards Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Willing to work on shifting schedules, including evenings or weekends if needed Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
