Apex Advice Group Ltd is a financial advisory firm with a national footprint. We provide financial advice to consumers and small businesses with focus on mortgages, funds management, KiwiSaver and insurance. Head office is in Mt Eden, Auckland with regional offices in Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, Whakatane, Tauranga, Christchurch and Queenstown. This is a growing business with 110 staff nationwide, comprising financial advisers and operational teams. We are now looking for a full time Paraplanner for Insurance based in our Mt Eden, Auckland office . Tasks & responsibilities Generate Statements of Advice in a timely manner Review Fact Finds, Needs Analysis, as provided by Advisers and prepare Statement of Advice for presentation to Advisers. Prepare discussion documents and review documents including product and market comparisons. Complete research needed to support recommendations being made. Gather further information and clarity on the recommendations being made from advisers/insurers, if needed. Submit signed letters of authority to providers, and obtain information for input into the CRM. Create file notes in CRM. Ensure all documentation is filed in the system. Create interdepartmental cases if required. Attend fortnightly insurance and investment meetings with Advisers. Assist in the preparation and updating of compliance documents for Advisers. Key requirements A reliable individual who has the ability to manage and prioritise their workload. Ability to produce business level correspondence, proof-read for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy. Relevant Financial related qualifications an advantage. NZ life / risk insurances product and provider knowledge an advantage. Background in the insurance industry preferred. Salary offer is based on current skill set and experience level.
