Working Date: Monday - Friday Working Hours: 7:40 - 16:40 Job Purpose: The Employee Relations Officer will actively manage employee relations initiatives to ensure a productive and positive working environment. This role will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, enhancing communication between staff and management, and ensuring legal compliance in the organization Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations and Communication: Daily Employee Engagement: Actively interact with employees on the shop floor to gauge workplace morale and respond to real-time concerns. Facilitate open-door policies by being accessible to employees for one-on-one discussions. Organize regular "Coffee Talk" or group meetings with employees to discuss workplace updates, gather feedback, and answer questions from staff. Conflict Resolution and Employee Grievances: Grievance Management: Proactively manage the employee grievance process, from receiving complaints to investigating and mediating resolutions. Create and update a log of employee grievances and complaints, tracking the status and resolution for each case. Conflict Resolution: Conduct detailed investigations into employee concerns, including interviewing involved parties and gathering necessary evidence. Partner with department heads and team leaders to resolve workplace conflicts and ensure fair treatment of all employees. Provide follow-up support after conflict resolution to ensure sustainable outcomes and prevent recurrence. Workplace Policy Enforcement: Policy Implementation: Ensure employees are regularly informed and educated on workplace policies, particularly health and safety guidelines, disciplinary procedures, and attendance rules. Actively participate in policy review committees, suggesting updates to HR policies based on current labor law and employee feedback. Disciplinary Actions: Coordinate and manage disciplinary processes, working with managers to ensure that company procedures are followed. Conduct disciplinary hearings and manage the termination process where necessary, ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Behavior Management: Behavioral Issues: Address workplace behavioral issues, ranging from absenteeism to improper conduct, through formal processes such as counseling and written warnings. Provide guidance to managers on corrective actions that align with company policy. Employee Engagement: Engagement Activities: Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, team-building activities, social events, and employee welfare programs. Work with the HR team to plan company-wide events like Family Day, Health Fairs, and Appreciation Weeks, ensuring strong participation
