Product Design Manager (UX/UI) – Healthcare Web & Mobile Apps Description The Product Design Manager leads the design team to deliver seamless and impactful product experiences across Invitrace's client-facing product engines on web and mobile platforms. This role balances leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on design expertise, guiding the team to transform complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions while ensuring alignment with product strategy, technical feasibility, and business goals. This position demands strong leadership in people management, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of user-centered design Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Designers and UX/UI Designers for the Engine products. • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Set performance goals, conduct regular feedback sessions, and support career growth. Design Strategy & Execution • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define the design vision and roadmap for each engine. • Ensure design decisions are data-informed through user research and usability testing. • Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure scalability and consistency across all engine products. • Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring quality and usability standards. Cross-functional Collaboration • Partner with leadership to align design direction with business and product objectives. • Present design strategies and concepts to stakeholders, providing clear rationale. • Ensure smooth handoff to engineering and support pixel-perfect implementation. Innovation & Best Practices • Keep the team updated with the latest design trends, tools, and emerging technologies. • Champion accessibility, inclusivity, and usability best practices in all design work. Core Skills • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles and product strategy alignment. • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision). • Ability to balance hands-on design with strategic oversight. • Strong presentation and communication skills to engage stakeholders and inspire teams. • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. • Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design practices. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in Product Design/UX/UI, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. • Proven portfolio demonstrating user interface design, interaction design, and design leadership. • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development constraints is a plus. • Experience in building and scaling design systems across digital products. • Strong track record of mentoring designers and driving team growth.
