Responsibilities: Batch Job Design, develop, test, and implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines to integrate data from diverse banking data warehouse system Support complex data extraction requests for Finance and Risk Analytic aspect and data management activities Oversee day-to-day operations, automate routine , monitor production job schedules, and perform troubleshooting/root-cause analysis on data pipeline failures for compliance and financial systems Write and maintain the programs for job automation, file transfers, and system maintenance tasks Prepare technical specifications, system design documents, data dictionaries, and ensure all data management practices comply with internal bank data governance and security policies Act as a technical mentor to junior developers, providing guidance on coding standards, ETL best practices, and banking data models Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline 6–8 years of solid experience in data warehousing, ETL development, or data analytics, preferably within the banking or financial services industry Experience in compliance and financial system Deep understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and data modeling Solid understanding of core ETL tools and data integration concepts (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, or similar) Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, indexing) across major databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting Hands-on experience with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) and python for data manipulation and analysis , would be an advantage Highly self-motivated and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision and able to work independently and under pressure Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with candidate’s background.
