Duties: Lead and supervise a team of dealers to provide comprehensive dealing support to the sales and sales trading teams. Coordinate day-to-day dealing activities seamlessly across various segments of the Wealth Management and brokerage business. Oversee and facilitate the accurate, timely, and best-execution of multi-asset class trades (including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and structured products) for clients. Ensure strict adherence to internal risk controls, compliance policies, and regulatory requirements. Actively monitor trading activities to prevent trade errors, mitigate operational risks, and monitor the credit risk in alignment with the company's risk management framework. Proactively develop, foster, and maintain positive relationships with a wide network of external traders, brokers, liquidity providers, and industry contacts. Ensure a constant flow of up-to-the-minute market intelligence and enhance the firm's reputation in the financial community. Manage, coach, and mentor the dealing team to ensure absolute accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in transaction execution. Continually review team and individual performance against business requirements and KPIs. Liaise closely with other key functions—particularly Sales, Risk Management, IT, and Brokerage Operations (Middle/Back Office)—to maintain an amicable, efficient, and seamless front-to-back workflow. Continuously review and drive the enhancement of dealing systems (e.g., OMS/EMS) and operational procedures. Champion automation and digital transformation initiatives to improve trading efficiency and system robustness. Provide timely market color, liquidity insights, and execution strategies to the Wealth Management sales team and senior management to support business growth and client satisfaction. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above with honors in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Responsible Officer (RA Type 1, 2) is required. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or other relevant professional qualifications are highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in the dealing/trading sector, of which at least 5 years must be in a managerial or leadership capacity within a financial institution. Deep and comprehensive understanding of all wealth management products across multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, Derivatives, and Structured Products). Proven hands-on experience with modern dealing systems, order management systems (OMS), and trading procedures. A strong leader and team builder with outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and crisis-management skills. High sensitivity to risk and compliance. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua). We offer attractive remuneration package and fringe benefits including 5-day week to the right candidate.
