Production Control Assistant Manager

Job Summary: Production and materials planning, forecasting, scheduling to optimize entire manufacturing processes are efficient and each operation meets shipping dates according to sales forecast or customer orders. Provide supervision and support subordinates and operations team to solve issues. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee Material Planning and Production Planning activities to ensure manufacturing operations meet customer orders, sales forecasts, and delivery commitments while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Analyze production requirements, plant capacity, material availability, and operational data to optimize manufacturing processes, improve resource utilization, and maximize production efficiency. Plan and coordinate workflow across departments according to manufacturing sequences, established lead times, and production standards to achieve delivery targets. Monitor, analyze, and report production and production support performance while ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on production status, material readiness, priorities, and execution plans. Utilize digital and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, or related systems) to improve data analysis, reporting, workflow automation, process efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives. Qualification: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2. A minimum 4 years’ experience in production planning, manufacturing process environment (electronics, automotive, textile, or related industries) is preferred. 3. Strong understanding of Production Planning & Control (PPC), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity planning, Production KPIs (OTD, Schedule Adherence, Inventory Turnover, Forecast Accuracy, etc.) 4. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar). 5. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, dashboards). 6. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage. 7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 8. Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics. 9. Good command of English, both written and spoken. 10. Continuous Improvement mindset with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives. 11. Proactive and results-oriented. 12. APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) is an advantage.
