Forest Management Auditor (FM Auditor)

Main Responsibilities: Conduct main, surveillance, and renewal audits in line with applicable standards and SGS procedures Ensure all audit activities comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct Prepare, review, and submit complete audit documentation accurately and within required timelines Maintain strong understanding of relevant global and local certification systems and procedures Respond to client inquiries regarding technical and commercial audit-related matters Support certification turnaround time and ensure audit report quality standards are met Act as trainer or tutor for assigned training courses Support new product/service development initiatives when assigned Identify and escalate customer feedback, issues, or system gaps to management Deliver audit assignments professionally in line with confidentiality and SGS standards Support internal teams in technical, commercial, and operational matters as required Participate in presentations related to SGS certification and training services when needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Forestry , Environmental Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in forestry or environmental-related work. At least 2 years of experience in management systems (e.g., ISO standards) Experience in one or more of the following areas: Forestry/environmental management in direct operational roles Consultancy in forestry/environmental management Auditing in forestry/environmental systems Certified or trained in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or related standards (RLA or equivalent preferred) Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good command of English, both written and spoken Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and proactive attitude Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments effectively Able to travel and work upcountry and/or overseas as required
