ABOUT THE ROLE The Technology Technician/Technologist acts as a vital technical liaison and project driver between the production floor, cross-functional teams (Prepress, Sample Development, Planning, and Production), and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects - including process attributes, sample/machine specifications, and quality control systems. This position also plays a critical role in the digital transformation of the shopfloor, responsible for the comprehensive testing, deployment, day-to-day maintenance, and operational support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE Lead, deploy, and monitor the sample/sampling processes for innovative product launches; ensure project milestones are met on time through disciplined multitasking and cross-functional coordination. Plan, arrange, and execute production trials for quality enhancements, process stabilization, and unique customer requests; review and update SOPs to reduce waste and ensure manufacturing repeatability. Partner with diverse departments to define precise manufacturing specifications, step-by-step quality gates, and specific process requirements for new samples and automated production lines. Input, audit, and maintain core system master data within the MES, including Digital Working Instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), operational routings, machine capacity configurations, and setup parameters. Actively resolve cross-departmental technical issues and handle workplace exceptions or priority conflicts smoothly through clear and proactive communication Coordinate closely with GPD, Total Quality and Technical teams to mitigate technical risks and resolve cross-departmental conflicts gracefully. University/College degree in technical majors such as: Printing, Garment, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical. 1 to 2 years (or more) of proven experience in technical support, process control, quality management, system deployment, or sample development within a modern manufacturing facility Familiarity in applying data analytics, automated reporting tools, or AI tools within a manufacturing environment to boost line efficiency Good multitasking ability; a highly organized individual capable of managing multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously. Hands-on experience or solid understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES, APS, WMS, and ERP production modules. Knowledge of RFID technology, hardware interfacing, or smart printing lines is a massive advantage. Good English communication (TOEIC ≥ 550) Proficient in standard office software (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace). Highly adaptive, resilient under pressure, and possessing an analytical mindset geared toward troubleshooting and innovation.
