Supplier Quality Analyst

Full-Time Work arrangement: On Site Location: Rockford, IL We are looking for a S upplier Quality Analyst to collaborate on one of our projects in the aerospace sector. Who are we? Role and Responsibilities : We are seeking a Supplier Quality Analyst to support supplier quality assurance activities and ensure the conformity of products and processes across the supply chain . The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate quality risks, support production continuity, and ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities: Perform source inspections at supplier sites to validate product conformity and compliance with applicable requirements. Implement and validate containment actions to protect production flow and minimize operational disruptions. Ensure proper traceability, documentation, and follow-up of supplier non-conformances. Identify potential supplier quality risks early and proactively escalate concerns to the appropriate stakeholders. Support rapid decision-making and resolution of supplier quality issues to minimize impacts on production and operations. Coordinate and deliver quality assurance-related training and materials, including Supplier Quality Management (SQM), auditing, and PMA. Support supplier quality projects and initiatives as required. Prepare monthly reports, quality metrics, and other reporting deliverables. Perform other supplier quality activities in support of business and project requirements. Required Qualifications : Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field 3+ years of experience in a technical, quality, supplier quality, manufacturing , or related field Strong skills in data compilation, analysis, and program tracking Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reporting and documentation Experience developing and delivering training materials, presentations, and related communications Strong knowledge of policy and procedure writing , documentation, and document maintenance Experience with benchmarking and documentation mapping Knowledge of regulatory quality systems and requirements , including TCCA, FAA, or equivalent aviation regulatory frameworks Ability to interpret quality assurance requirements , methodologies, and techniques Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred Why join our team?
