Constance Prince Maurice, a luxurious 5-star resort in Mauritius, is seeking an experienced and professional Head Waiter to join our esteemed food and beverage team. As Chef de Rang, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests while leading and inspiring our service staff. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of restaurant service, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Lead, train, and motivate a team of waiters and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Manage guest relations, addressing queries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Implement and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor and maintain stock levels, placing orders as necessary. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ensure compliance with all company policies and local regulations. Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting Proven track record in a supervisory role within food service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management Strong leadership and team management abilities In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail expertise Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems Fluency in English; additional languages are highly advantageous Up-to-date food safety and hygiene certifications Thorough understanding of fine dining etiquette and protocols Experience in the luxury hospitality industry is preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service WORK WITH CONSTANCE 🌿 Join a team where well-being, career development, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
