This position is responsible for leading the global Indirect Procurement category strategy and execution for CAPEX, MRO and Lab across TAPI sites. The role ensures effective sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, procurement governance and support for critical business and CAPEX projects. The position is expected to deliver sustainable savings, cost avoidance, supply continuity, process improvement and standardization, while partnering closely with global and local stakeholders to support operational excellence and achievement of business objectives. Develop, lead and execute global category strategies for CAPEX, MRO and Lab across TAPI sites, aligned with business priorities and procurement objectives. Lead strategic sourcing activities, including supplier identification, tender/RFx management, commercial evaluation, supplier selection, negotiations and contract support. Lead and support high-value CAPEX procurement projects, ensuring competitive sourcing, optimal commercial terms, risk mitigation and compliance with procurement governance. Provide procurement expertise and negotiation support for site-led CAPEX, Lab and MRO projects to improve sourcing effectiveness and support timely project execution. Drive supplier consolidation, standardization, process optimization and governance improvements across the relevant categories. Manage key global and regional supplier relationships to ensure service quality, supply continuity, cost competitiveness, compliance and performance improvement. Lead and support strategic initiatives such as MRO management programs, CAPEX playbook deployment, laboratory strategy, equipment supplier network development, lab equipment and services consolidation, etc. Deliver sustainable savings, cost avoidance and value creation in line with annual procurement targets and AOP commitments. Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking and supplier landscape analysis to identify opportunities, risks and best practices. Collaborate closely with global, regional and local stakeholders, including Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal and site management. Ensure all procurement activities are performed in accordance with company policies, approval processes, compliance requirements and procurement governance. Monitor category performance, project progress, savings delivery, risks and improvement opportunities, and provide clear reporting to management as required. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is an advantage. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in indirect procurement, category management or strategic sourcing within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a global manufacturing environment Proven experience in managing complex categories such as CAPEX, MRO, laboratory services/equipment, technical services or manufacturing-related indirect spend. Strong sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management capabilities. Good understanding of industrial manufacturing operations, engineering projects, site requirements and procurement governance processes. Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to identify savings opportunities, assess supplier proposals and support data-driven decision-making. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with global, regional and local stakeholders in a cross-functional and matrix environment. Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with senior management. Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities, ownership, prioritization and ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment. Fluent written and spoken English.
