Overview This posting will close at 5:00PM on the close date. $10,000 Sign on Bonus and $10,000 after completing one-year probationary period Provide high volume spay and neuter services to pet owners of Dona Ana County. Work will be performed at either County facilities, or the Dona Ana County mobile spay/neuter clinic for use in remote areas of the County. Under nominal supervision performs technical animal health care duties and technical support for small animals and livestock that have been quarantined as evidence. Coordinate inoculation of animals in Dona Ana County’s rural areas. Responsibilities Manage Live Evidence Technician Staff. Tasks include but are not limited to: Develop goals and objectives. Approve selection of staff, provide daily supervision, write, and conduct performance evaluations and when necessary, implement discipline. Develop and participate in departmental in-house training. Promote and maintain the humane care and treatment of animals. Tasks include but are not limited to: Perform high volume spay and neuter and provide post operative care.
