To m eet the Minimum Requirements for the CIVIL ENGINEER TECHNICIAN III position, ALL applicants MUST possess the following: A. Completion of an approved two (2) year highway/civil engineering technology, drafting, or land surveying program; and B. Two (2) years of relevant work experience; OR four (4) years of relevant work experience; OR C. Equivalent combination of education/training/experience. D. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive in the state of Minnesota. E. Must successfully complete a background check. F. Obtain and maintain certifications and licensures. F. 1. Ability to obtain and maintain upon hire: F. 1. 1. Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Technical Certifications, including Aggregate Production Tester, Bituminous Street Inspector, Concrete Field Tester, Grading & Base Tester, and Grading & Base Inspector. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
