Automotive Technician Assistant- PT

JOB OBJECTIVE: To perform a variety of skilled maintenance and minor repair services on a routine preventive and corrective basis for City vehicles and light equipment. These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a high school or vocational-technical school course in automotive mechanics and one (1) year of experience as an automotive mechanic or mechanic assistant. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
