The City of Waxahachie is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to join our Utilities Department. Click the following link to view the Maintenance Technician I Job Description: Maintenance Technician I Salary Range Maintenance Technician I: $51,486.47 - $72,081.06 (DOQ) Click the following link to view the Maintenance Technician II Job Description: Maintenance Technician II Salary Range Maintenance Technician II: $56,763.84 - $79,469.37 (DOQ) Maintenance Technician I Education, Training, and Experience: High School diploma or GED. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance. Six months minimum of mechanical experience. Licenses and Certifications: A valid state driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment. Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate valid minimum Class D Wastewater Operator, and a Class D Water Operator License (within 12 months) issued by the State of Texas. Maintenance Technician II Education, Training and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Two years of equipment maintenance experience. Licenses and Certificates: A valid Texas driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment. Possession and ability to maintain an appropriate valid minimum Class D Wastewater Treatment Operator, and a Class D Water Operator License issued by the State of Texas.
