A successful candidate will perform emergency and non-emergency communications and dispatch duties including; receiving and prioritizing calls and requests for public safety departments; maintaining accurate status of all units on radio channels; record and relay information for police, fire and medical services; search public safety records for warrants, vehicle registrations, driver licenses, and other information; enter and retrieve information from computer; maintain and operate a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system; operate multiple channel radio system; maintain confidentiality with information obtained through employment; and perform other duties as required to professionally serve the citizens and public safety responders of Cache County. Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and holidays. Must be able to multi-task, provide exceptional service during stressful situations and work well in a team environment. During the hiring process applicants must successfully pass extensive skills tests, interviews, a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
