Summit County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a qualified Patrol Cadet. The applicant selected for the position attends a Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Law Enforcement Academy to obtain POST Certification. The Patrol Cadet’s primary job location is at a POST Academy located in either the Denver Metropolitan Area or a Colorado Mountain College Law Enforcement Training Academy. Upon POST Certification, the Patrol Cadet promotes to Patrol Deputy. Cadet Level: $68,120 Academy Graduate: $72,800 Basic Requirements Job Description Patrol Deputy Application Hiring Process: Initial application process Written Testing Oral Board Complete a Personal History Questionnaire Background Investigation Integrity Interview Psychological Testing Polygraph Examination Executive Interview Successful completion of Law Enforcement Academy Testing for these positions will be TBA.
