This position is under the direct supervision of the Associate Warder of Operations and performs administrative/clerical duties in a medium/maximum correctional facility. Develop and maintain a filing system for all correspondences and memorandums, to include inmate request to staff, and prepare minutes for meetings. Maintain a filing system for monthly reports. Assist with special projects and compose a wide variety of documents. Performs other administrative duties as required by the Associate Warden of Operations and the Major of Security. Serves as back-up to counsel substitute for disciplinary hearings. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
