The Department of Government, Law & International Affairs (GLIA) at the University of Central Missouri seeks motivated and engaged undergraduate students to serve as Department Student Ambassadors. This role provides students with valuable leadership, communication, and professional development experience while helping strengthen connections within the GLIA academic community. Duties Include: Ambassadors help promote the department, support student engagement, and build a strong sense of community among Political Science, International Studies, and related majors. Student Ambassadors represent the department at campus events, assist with outreach initiatives, and help highlight opportunities such as study abroad, internships, Model United Nations, Mock Trial, and career pathways connected to the study of politics and global affairs. Education: Major or minor in Political Science or International Studies Good academic standing at UCM Experience: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in leadership, community building, and promoting the department Familiarity with or willingness to learn basic social media content creation Working Hours and Days: 5 hours - M-F
