Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Seeking a skilled System Administrator with strong experience in Microsoft Hyper-V , Windows Server , and enterprise networking . This role supports day-to-day operations, infrastructure stability, and ongoing improvements across virtualized and physical environments. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Hyper-V hosts , virtual machines, clustering, and storage. Administer Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services. Monitor and optimize network performance , including switches, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and VPNs. Perform system updates, patching, backups, and disaster-recovery tasks. Implement security best practices and assist with compliance requirements. Provide Tier 2/3 support for server, network, and virtualization issues. Document configurations, procedures, and changes. Hands-on experience with Hyper-V (VM creation, replication, failover clustering). Strong understanding of TCP/IP , subnets, routing, VLANs, and firewall concepts. Proficiency with Windows Server administration. Familiarity with PowerShell for automation is a plus. Ability to diagnose complex issues and work independently. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems, or certain other information technology-based fields of study and two years of relevant information technology experience. Relevant information technology experience and training may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the four years of college education.
