This position provides leadership and coordination of nursing services to support the health and safety of individuals residing at the Selinsgrove Center. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Nursing Oversight: Guide and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to ensure that services follow professional standards and regulatory requirements Staff Direction: Assign, supervise, and support nursing staff in providing health services and maintaining a therapeutic environment Health Coordination: Monitor treatment plans, review clinical information, and participate in interdisciplinary activities to support individual care needs Compliance Management: Ensure nursing practices meet facility policies, safety rules, and regulations Training Leadership: Provide instruction to nursing staff regarding clinical procedures, infection control, and health care standards Documentation Review: Audit nursing records, assess clinical notes, and track follow-up actions to maintain accurate documentation Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability. Special Requirements: You must possess active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
