This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description This part-time Parks Crew Member position will be responsible for maintaining the parks' safety and cleanliness for public use, as well as ensuring the integrity of the County's renowned park system. In addition, the incumbent will be providing customer service assistance, performing janitorial duties and routine inspections of grounds, and collecting litter while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. Essential Duties Interacting with the public during pavilion rentals Overseeing pavilion rentals Providing restroom upkeep and maintenance Conducting park safety checks/general park inspections Assisting with Youth Athletic Associations Preparing incident reporting as needed Performing end-of-day facility lock-up and setting the alarm Providing equipment preventative maintenance Performing landscaping duties as needed Performing other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned Public Speaking Duties Interacting with Youth Athletic Associations, pavilion, and facility customers Other Job Requirements/Information This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays. Hourly rate Hourly rate will be $16.80.
