About the Position Lane County Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our community adult outpatient clinic in Eugene, Oregon. In this role, you will provide psychiatric assessments, medication management, consultation and follow-up care for adults receiving services through our general outpatient and/or forensic behavioral health programs. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to providing coordinated, person-centered care to individuals who may experience significant barriers to accessing treatment. About the Division Lane County Behavioral Health Services encompasses a broad array of services and programs. Services include treatment for children, families, and adults. Services can be accessed through a variety of programs focusing on mental health issues. Lane County Behavioral Health Services is a public mental health provider receiving funding from state mental health grants and client fees, some of which may be in the form of Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance carriers’ reimbursements. *Lane County employees may be eligible for student loan repayment: See links below. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm *This is an AFSCME Nurses represented position* Training: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program specific to the expanded specialty of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Experience: No experience required. Special Requirements: The following are required at the time of hire: State of Oregon Registered Nurse license Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) National Certification by a nationally recognized board Drug Enforcement Agency certificate National Provider Identifier (NPI) Current BLS/CPR Diploma Transcripts CV or Resume Oregon Driver's License Notes: This position is subject to a DHS ORCHARDS background check.
