Limited housing opportunity for seasonal, FULL-TIME employees SKI FREE @ Copper Option to participate in the Summit Foundation Ski Medallion program through Employee Giving This hourly position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through telephone, email, and in-person interactions. This position uses recreation software to make reservations, sell tickets, register guests for recreation programs and make facility reservations. Attendants will be required to assist with special events, including birthdays and weddings, and other Adventure Park activities, for both indoor and outdoor operations. Desired start date: 11/19/2026 & estimated end-of-season date: 4/11/2027 Guest Service staff typically are scheduled Thursday - Monday between eight (8)AM to six-thirty (6:30)PM. Opportunities may be available for nine (9)AM to five (5)PM shifts on Tuesday/Wednesday. Position Title: Adventure Park Guest Service Attendant Department : Recreation Cost Center: 1160 - Adventure Park Employee Type : Seasonal, full-time or part-time Pay Grade: Pay Grade TP1 Pay Type/FLSA: Non-Exempt / Hourly Allocations: 10-1160-4005 Reports to : Guest Service Manager, Supervisors and Leads Frequent internal contacts: Recreation Department Visitor Information Center Public Works Frequent external contacts: Guests Citizens Job Location: Onsite Essential Functions Provides exceptional guest service to all Adventure Park guests by giving appropriate information, directions and conducts all transactions with a smile, eye contact and clear communication. Utilizes a variety of software to assist guests. Makes reservations and conducts various sale transactions. Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding all Adventure Park and Recreation Department programs, facilities and services. Answers repetitive questions, scenarios and tasks with professionalism, politeness and courtesy both in person and on the phone. Might be on the phone up to 8 hours making reservations. Creates and redeems reservations for all Adventure Park and Recreation programs. Utilizes sales techniques to sell retail merchandise food and beverage. Informs guests of Adventure Park safety practices, operating rules and regulations and help to enforce these rules as necessary. Interacts with and maintains professional attitudes and relationships with guests, co-workers and management in a positive, professional manner at all times using appropriate language and conversations. Communicates as appropriate with other staff and supervisor about concerns or when assistance is needed. Utilizes appropriate cash handling procedures. Produces neat, organized and accurate closing reports. Marginal Duties Ensures the Day Lodge facility indoor and outdoor is clean, well-maintained, items are stocked and well display, and presentable to guests. Assists with opening and closing procedures including but not limited to counting till, locking and unlocking building, facility cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, and sweeping. Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff. Adheres to all Town of Frisco and Recreation Department policies and procedures; including but not limited to safety, accounting, and maintaining grooming and uniform standards. Works in a team-based environment supporting the Adventure Park and Recreation Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management. Other Essential Responsibilities This position requires regular and reliable in-person attendance at the designated worksite as an essential function of the job. As a public servant, physical presence is necessary to effectively perform essential duties, support operational needs, collaborate with team members, provide direct service to the public and internal stakeholders, utilize on-site equipment and resources, and maintain effective communication, responsiveness, and accountability in serving the community. Adheres to Town of Frisco policies, mission, vision, values, competencies, standards, and regulations including but not limited to proper attire, safety procedures, and overall professionalism. Attends Town and departmental training and meetings as appropriate or assigned. Ability to function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor. Communicates with Town of Frisco employees, citizens, customers and vendors in a professional, courteous and timely manner both verbally and in writing. Performs other job duties/responsibilities as assigned by management. Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job, demonstrates accountability for work, and takes ownership in job performance. Specific knowledge, skills and abilities needed for position : Area Comments Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or GED Computer Operations: Preferred: Familiar with Point of Sales & booking systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Email Licenses, Certifications or Accreditations: Required: CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within the first 6 months or 1 month if seasonal/temporary position. Training provided by the Town.) Preferred: Valid Colorado Driver’s License Previous Work Experience: Required: One (1) year of guest service Language Ability: Required: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Decision Making Ability: Required: Demonstrated ability to function independently and make sound and reasonable decisions in the absence of supervisory guidance. Other: Required: Ability to pass a background investigation. Required: Must be able to multitask in a high pace environment. Preferred: Tubing hill or ski area operation experience. Preferred: One (1) year of cash handling experience. Preferred: One (1) year of retail experience and/or food & beverage operations Physical Demands: Weight LIFTING : Does the job require weight to be lifted or force to be exerted?
