Job Description: Utilize all of your human resources skills to support our organization in the following ways: Recruitment - Assist with building the job description for advertisement while also making recommendations on external advertisement resources based on your recruitment expertise. Review applicant resumes to determine the best fit for our positions and conduct a phone screen with qualified candidates to gather additional information to assist our hiring managers with making their interview selections. Participate in interview panels for high-level and priority positions in our organization. Training - Help our hiring managers become experts with our applicant tracking system, Workday, by providing them with and conducting trainings either on a one-on-one basis or in a classroom-style setting. Some other trainings include best hiring practices for Managers and Supervisors, hiring myths and much more. Community Outreach - Public speaking is a key skill needed for this position because presentations at local schools and organizations are a common occurrence! These presentations can range in topic and audience based on location and can vary from as young as middle school aged children up to adults. Cross-departmental Coordination - Coordinate directly with Directors, Managers and Supervisors to determine their needs through in-depth discussions. This includes current needs as well as future needs based on organizational changes and plans. Social Media - Use your creative-side to create graphics and job ad blurbs to share on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Event Coordination/Planning - Manage and coordinate activities such as job fairs (in-person and virtual), community and school events, internship program events, etc. This also includes creating handouts and other informational pieces to share. Recognition/Accolades - Seek and apply for "Best Workplaces...", "Best Places..." lists. This opportunity requires an individual with the ability to be a critical thinker, anticipate needs and offer solutions with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Must have a pleasant, outgoing personality and ability to work on multiple ongoing projects. Ultimately, you will play an important part in building a stronger employer brand for our organization to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees to make an impact in our community! About You Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Public Administration or a related field. Two (2) years of professional-level related experience in HR, including recruitment, advertising, and sourcing. Preferred qualifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP Knowledge, skills, abilities: Social media experience - creating professional content and posting on various platforms. Skill in using applicant tracking systems and ability to analyze processes and implement process and systems improvements. Skill in written and verbal communication and consultation. Skill in presenting to internal/external groups. Skill in networking through contacts, association memberships and social media to build brand awareness. Ability to prioritize/organize information, projects, assignments and meet timelines. About Everything Else Hours: Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. Occasional early evenings or limited weekend hours required for hiring events. Pay: $56,000 - $60,000
