This is semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical equipment used in sewage/wastewater lift stations. JURISDICTIONS YEARLY SALARY CITY OF CHICKASAW $24,132 - $30,072 MOBILE AREA WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM $45,775 - $61,562 PRICHARD WATER WORKS AND SEWER BOARD $39,471 - $49,295 SARALAND WATER AND SEWER BOARD $53,085 - $66,296 UTILITIES BOARD CITY OF CHICKASAW $29,109 - $36,353 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of one year experience in mechanical maintenance and repair work; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence. May be required to obtain an Alabama Grade IC Wastewater Certification.
