Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Education Advisor and general supervision of the Education Manager, the tutor will provide tutorial assistance to American Indian students, grades K through 12. Duties: Tutor students in Grades K-12 during the After School Program; school subjects with an emphasis in Mathematics, English and Reading. Tutors will work with the Tribal Education Advisors; participate in monthly Education Meetings as needed. Submit weekly reports to the Education Advisor; participate in monthly Education Meetings as needed. Will participate in other educational related activities Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma and prefer a minimum of one year of college course work. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with Indian students, staff, teachers and parents. Applicants must have strong academic skills in Math, English, History and Reading. Must pass a security clearance and RSIC vehicle insurance requirements. Qualify Indian preference apply.
