$28.03 - $34.99/hour; $4,858.53 - $6,064.93/month; $58,302.40 - $72,779.20/year Placer County is currently accepting applications for Equipment Operator in both Auburn and Tahoe. Each location has different vacancies and requires a separate application and supplemental questionnaire. As an Equipment Operator with Placer County, you will operate light and moderately heavy road maintenance and construction equipment in the repair, maintenance, and construction of County roads. Permanent employees are eligible for salary plus up to an additional $1,000 per month for assignments in the Tahoe region. Minimum Qualifications Experience: Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to those of a Maintenance Worker assigned to various program areas in Placer County. Training: Completion of 12th grade or equivalent. Safety sensitive positions are subject to random ongoing DOT drug testing including marijuana.
