Clackamas Health Centers - Behavioral Health Clinics is seeking a dedicated and self-confident individual to join our behavioral health teams as a Mental Health Program Supervisor. The position is located at our newest outpatient clinic on Lake Road in Milwaukie, Oregon and will oversee and support the Child and Family Outpatient Team. Services are predominantly provided at the Lake Road Health Center. The Mental Health Program Supervisor is a dynamic position that combines strong leadership, clinical expertise, and operational management to oversee the delivery of behavioral health services. The Program Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting clinicians and ensuring high-quality care for children, youth and their families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Key responsibilities for the program supervisor in this position include supervising professional and paraprofessional staff, ensuring compliance with OARs, coordinating clinical operations, managing budgets, addressing complaints, participating in hiring, delivering direct clinical services, and contributing to program development. Additionally, the position involves collaboration with specialty teams across the continuum of care to provide effective therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a robust background in supervising and developing behavioral health programs and coordinating with various division programs to optimize service delivery. Experience in operational management of treatment programs and providing licensure supervision is essential, as is the ability to navigate the complexities within children, youth and family systems of care. Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:* A minimum of five (5) years of experience in youth-specific mental health services that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the responsibilities of this position; including at least one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience, such as assigning work, training staff, reviewing performance, addressing performance concerns, and recommending corrective actions. Licensure granted by the State of Oregon to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as established by contractual or statutory requirements. Must meet the criteria to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as established by the Oregon Administrative Rules. Must possess or obtain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain throughout employment. Must be willing to respond to emergencies as part of the regular schedule. Preferred Special Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:* Ability to train and supervise clinicians in early childhood Evidence-Based Practices recognized by the Oregon Health Authority Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) I, II, III and/or comparable clinical experience in youth SUD treatment Experience working in behavioral health within the public sector and/or a government agency Spanish/English bilingual skills Experience, knowledge and commitment to serving a diverse population and promoting health equity and inclusion. Familiarity with Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) Pre-Employment Requirements:* Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test. Must pass a criminal history check which may include national or state fingerprint records check Driving is necessary for County business.
