BASIC FUNCTION Under general direction of the afterschool program administrator and lead teacher to plan and implement a specialized program of education and enrichment which relates but is not limited to subjects such as art, music, science, and homework help. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES - Provide supervision and specialized instruction and enrichment activities in and out of classrooms - Plan, provide and direct student with enrichment lessons and activities relating to a specific subject area or area of visual and performing arts - Prepare classroom for activities. - Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. - Use relevant technology to support instruction. - Manage student behavior and enforce rules and procedures. - Record accurate daily attendance. OTHER DUTIES Performs related duties similar to the above in scope and function as assigned.
