Salary Ranges: Mechanic II: $32.08 - $44.92 Mechanic III: $34.65 - $48.51 *$5000 bonus: $2500 sign-on bonus, paid out on employee's first paycheck & up to $2500 retention bonus, paid out after 6 months of employment, based on attendance and performance. This position is responsible for the continuous repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical airport infrastructure, including vehicles, heavy equipment, baggage conveyors, passenger jet bridges, and HVAC systems. Operating within a secure aviation environment, this role ensures all mechanical, electrical, and heavy equipment operations comply strictly with federal FAA and TSA regulations. What You'll Do: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, welding, and repairs on gasoline, diesel, and winter airport equipment—including snowplows, sweepers, and crash/fire apparatuses—to ensure FAA readiness and operational performance. Maintain and repair essential airport equipment, including baggage conveyor systems, passenger jet bridges, and facility HVAC. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems. Operate vehicles and heavy equipment in a secure environment. Ensure all work complies with strict FAA and TSA safety and security regulations. Level III mechanics will lead projects and mentor junior team members. What We're Looking For: Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a federal background check. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Must be available for on-call and weekend duties.
