It's a unique opportunity to develop a rewarding career and become a qualified Lift Station Technician Gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training with an experienced technician Attend evening coursework through the STC Electrical Program Complete the self-paced Sacramento Lift Station Training Program As a Skilled Trades Worker II Install, replace, repair, and modify mechanical and electrical equipment located on and within Public Utilities facilities, including, but not limited to, pumps, pump valves, regulators, actuators, control panels, communication systems, motor controls, electronic filtering, and switching systems Document and maintain work orders, parts inventory, and safety records Proficient in the operation of an electric multimeter, voltmeter, and megohmmeter, battery operator tools, hand tools, chainsaws, and other gas-powered equipment Operate crane trucks to remove and install pumps from wet wells and other lift station maintenance activities Read and follow color codes, wiring diagrams and schematics, blueprints, plans, and written instructions <b style="margin: 0; paddi
