About the Position If selected, you will... Review all lot drainage plans submitted to Land Development as part of the building permit process for compliance with the Unified Development Code. Provide on-site inspections of private, public, and county-owned property; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, statutes, and County ordinances. Offer backup support for Land Development Inspectors in their inspection activities. Provide support in the review of site development permit plans and right-of-way use permits. About the Schedule Work Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ( No weekends! ) About You To be considered for this role, you must have the following: High School Diploma or its equivalent and 4+ years of total experience in inspecting. OR: College or university-level training in an appropriate field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. Valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire. The ideal candidate has the following: Please note that these are not requirements but bonuses for your consideration. Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Certification, or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire.
