About the Position The Superior Court is hiring a translation intern to assist in the translation, editing and proofreading of forms in the Law Library Resource Center (LLRC). Position Qualifications We recognize your time is valuable, so please apply if you meet the following required qualifications : Education: Be enrolled and have two years or less remaining to graduating from a graduate or undergraduate program in Spanish, or related Translation/Interpretation program (Spanish/English combination) OR Have graduated from a graduate or undergraduate program in Spanish, or related Translation/Interpretation program (Spanish/English combination) within the past 12 months Our Preferred Candidate has: Currently enrolled graduate student or bachelor’s degree seeking student with completion of at least two (2) years’ college level coursework in Spanish or related Translation/Interpretation program (Spanish/English combination). Six months Spanish translation experience Certification in Spanish translation Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge of: Standard clerical practices related to filing, maintaining records, and research preparation.
