In your cover letter, please ensure to include responses to the following: 1. Describe your experience in Electrical Systems or Equipment Repair and Service. 2. Do you possess electronic or instrumentation training from a recognized trade or technical school, or equivalent military training? 3. Describe your experience in maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems. 4. Do you have three (3) or more years of experience working with instrumentation and controls? 5. Detail your experience in programming and configuring PLCs and software for Human-Machine Interface (HMI)/PLC systems. 6. Describe your hands-on experience with pressure transmitters, flow meters, analytical instrumentation, level transmitters, and Fluke process meters. 7. Do you have experience interpreting wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) drawings? 8. Do you possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license? Do you have at least two (2) years of driving experience? Have you had a DUI in the past two (2) years? If you possess any of the preferred qualifications listed above, and wish to receive consideration for the experience the information must be verifiable in your resume and cover letter. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in a written examination. The written examination is a highly technical exam. Applicants must have a solid understanding of electrical theory, Ladder Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and communication equipment.
