Key Responsibilities Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments. Manage and support infrastructure automation using Terraform . Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes . Develop and maintain scripts and automation using Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell . Support middleware technologies including WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache, and Kafka . Support CI/CD and automation platforms such as Jenkins, Ansible, Rundeck, and Git . Monitor infrastructure and applications using Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, and Geneos . Work with Elasticsearch for logging, monitoring, and data analysis where required. Apply ITIL Service Management practices across Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
