Lorry Assistant / General Worker

Job Description We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Lorry Assistant to support our daily collection and operational activities. This is a hands-on role involving physical and manual work, including the loading and unloading of items from company vehicles. The successful candidate will work closely with our drivers and operations team to complete scheduled jobs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist the driver with daily collection and delivery jobs Load and unload boxes, bags, IT equipment and other materials Carry and move items safely at customer and company premises Arrange and secure items properly inside the lorry Assist with counting, labelling and checking collected items Keep the lorry, equipment and work areas clean and organised Follow workplace safety, security and customer-site procedures Perform other general warehouse and operational duties when required Requirements Comfortable performing physical and manual work Able to carry and move heavy or bulky items safely Punctual, responsible and willing to learn Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Able to communicate in basic English Prior experience in logistics, moving, delivery, warehousing or general labour is an advantage but not required What We Offer Five-day work week Stable full-time employment On-the-job training Supportive team environment Salary based on experience and suitability Interested applicants may apply through MyCareersFuture with their contact details and work experience.
