This will be a 1-year contract position based in One North. Responsibilities Responsible for end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent platforms. Improve delivery speed, quality and repeatability by automating build, test, security scanning, release and deployment processes. Develop and maintain reusable pipeline templates, deployment standards and engineering guardrails across development teams. Containerized workloads management by using Docker and Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE or on-premises Kubernetes. Cloud and platform infrastructure provisioning and management by using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or CloudFormation). Assisting cloud management on Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (identity, networking, compute, storage and platform services). Responsible for observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerts through tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog or Azure Monitor. Implement DevSecOps controls (SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, secrets management, policy checks and compliance evidence, into delivery pipelines). Responsible for source-code repositories, branching strategies, artefact repositories, release processes and environment promotion controls. Leverage on Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible or equivalent tools to automate configuration and operational tasks. Examine infrastructure and deployment incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions Responsible for technical documentation, platform standards, operational runbooks and disaster-recovery procedures. Perpetual improvement on delivery performance, platform resilience, security posture, developer experience and operational efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator or HashiCorp Terraform Associate. 3 years of experience in: DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering or cloud operations, with significant CI/CD responsibility. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Git, pull-request workflows and branching approaches (trunk-based development or GitFlow). Docker and Kubernetes, (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and operational support). Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or cloud-native alternatives (Bicep, ARM templates or CloudFormation). Scripting and automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python or Groovy. Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Monitoring, logging and observability tools and practices. Networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, routing, firewalls, VPNs, proxies and TLS certificates. Identity, secrets and privileged-access management within CI/CD and cloud environments. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
