Job Summary The Construction Manager (Electrical) leads electrical construction activities for LTA tunnel infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and budget-compliant delivery from planning through commissioning and handover. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all electrical construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project plans and quality standards Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to align project execution Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements to guide construction works Develop and monitor detailed electrical work schedules to meet project timelines Ensure all electrical installations adhere to approved drawings, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Inspect workmanship, materials, and overall quality to maintain high construction standards Manage inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover processes for LTA tunnel infrastructure projects Oversee manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance to optimize resource utilization Resolve technical issues on site and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical queries promptly Enforce compliance with safety protocols and promote safe working practices on site Track project progress, control costs, manage variations, and maintain accurate project documentation Prepare and review as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy Required competencies and certifications Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum 5–10 years of electrical construction experience managing site teams and subcontractors Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning processes Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications Good understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines Relevant professional certifications or licenses, where required Key Competencies Leadership and team management Project planning and coordination Technical problem-solving Quality and safety management Stakeholder communication Time and cost management Decision-making under pressure
