Responsibilities Prepare and organize apparatus and materials for science experiments to ensure readiness and safety Maintain cleanliness and functionality of science laboratories and rooms through housekeeping and routine maintenance Assist teachers by preparing lesson materials and setting up necessary equipment Coordinate procurement of science equipment, instruments, and materials with suppliers Manage and monitor the schedule for teachers’ use of science laboratories to optimize resource allocation Perform data entry and update inventory systems to maintain accurate records of laboratory supplies Liaise with vendors or contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair of lab equipment and facilities Invigilate science practical assessments to ensure compliance with examination protocols Climb staircases to access laboratories on levels 2 to 4 to support physical tasks as required Provide laboratory support for school research projects as needed Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to support laboratory operations Required competencies and certifications Completed Secondary education Relevant expertise and work experience in laboratory support or related fields Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in administration, including use of MS Outlook (or equivalent email software) and MS Office
