As a Risk & Compliance Associate at BCRS Ltd, you will support the organisation’s risk management and compliance activities, focusing heavily on supplier and stakeholder compliance, managing formal communications, and ensuring the timely resolution of compliance matters. Roles & Responsibilities Communicate with suppliers and external stakeholders regarding compliance requirements, identified issues, and required follow-up actions Request information, supporting documents, declarations, and explanations from suppliers for compliance review Follow up consistently with suppliers to ensure responses and documentation are received within required timelines Clarify compliance requirements and procedures to suppliers while maintaining professional communication, even on sensitive matters Draft and issue formal correspondence to suppliers, including compliance reminders, non-compliance notification letters, and corrective action requests Ensure all correspondence clearly sets out the identified issue, required action, deadlines, and next steps Coordinate internally to obtain necessary reviews or approvals before issuing formal compliance letters Monitor suppliers’ compliance with applicable agreements, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements Review information and supporting documents submitted by suppliers to identify potential discrepancies, exceptions, or non-compliance indicators Conduct preliminary assessments of compliance issues, document findings, and track cases from detection through to closure Assist in identifying operational, compliance, financial, and reputational risks arising from supplier activities Highlight recurring compliance issues and emerging risk trends to management, and escalate high-risk matters appropriately Maintain accurate, complete records and audit trails of compliance cases, supplier communications, actions taken, and outcomes Maintain compliance trackers to monitor outstanding actions and deadlines Assist in preparing compliance reports, case summaries, management updates, and supporting materials for review Support the development and updating of compliance policies, procedures, guidelines, and standard operating procedures Identify opportunities to improve compliance monitoring processes and assist in developing standard templates for supplier communications Support internal compliance reviews, audits, investigations, and other risk management initiatives as required Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline 1 to 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, operations, regulatory affairs, or contract administration (entry-level candidates or individuals without prior experience but possessing strong analytical and organisational skills are welcome to apply) Prior experience in supplier/vendor compliance, compliance investigations, auditing, or working with government agencies is highly advantageous Exceptional attention to detail and ability to review documents, identify missing information, and flag potential compliance concerns Strong organisational and follow-through skills, particularly in managing multiple cases, tracking outstanding matters, and meeting deadlines Proven ability to draft clear, structured, and appropriately firm formal business correspondence and case summaries Strong analytical thinking skills to assess information, identify risks, and determine appropriate follow-up actions Excellent judgement to distinguish routine compliance matters from issues requiring escalation High level of integrity with a demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations and sensitive, confidential information professionally Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard business applications Ability to consistently meet performance indicators related to timeliness, documentation accuracy, risk escalation, and stakeholder communication We thank all applicants for their interest in joining BCRS Ltd.
