Senior ServiceNow Portal & CSM Architect

The Objective We are seeking an elite, uncompromising Senior ServiceNow Developer to architect, engineer, and optimize highly complex Service Portal and Customer Service Management (CSM) solutions. This is not a standard administrative role; it requires architect-level mastery of the ServiceNow ecosystem, deep technical scripting capabilities, and a zero-tolerance approach to poor code quality. You will dictate technical standards, prototype enterprise-grade solutions, and drive flawless execution across globally distributed engineering pods. Core Responsibilities Complex Architecture & Prototyping: Rapidly conceptualize, prototype, and deliver highly complex, bespoke ServiceNow solutions that challenge "Out-of-the-Box" limitations while adhering to strict platform best practices. Elite Portal Engineering: Dominate Service Portal development. Engineer, deploy, and meticulously maintain custom widgets, complex UI pages, and advanced front-end user experiences. Technical Authority & Governance: Act as the absolute technical vanguard for the team. Enforce merciless design and code reviews, dictating performance tuning and architectural standards to ensure zero-defect deployments. Advanced Configuration & Automation: Autonomously design and roll out new application modules, intricate workflows, and heavily customized catalog requests. Global Collaboration: Command technical discussions and build seamless, high-performance relationships with cross-functional and global software engineering teams. Strict Qualifying Criteria Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a strictly equivalent technical discipline is mandatory . Platform Mastery: Minimum 4+ years of deep, hands-on ServiceNow development experience. Administrative-only experience will be immediately rejected. CSM & Portal Dominance: Absolute mastery of the CSM module, CSM architecture, and its data model. Expert-level proficiency in AngularJS and JavaScript for advanced, bespoke Widget customization. Heavyweight Scripting & Integration: Flawless command over all scripted aspects of ServiceNow (Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Client/Server-side JS, ServiceNow APIs). Proven capability in engineering custom integrations via REST, SOAP, and Scripted APIs. Infrastructure & Event Management: Deep operational experience with MID Server architecture, complex Import Sets, Event Management, and precise Event Correlation handling. ITSM & CMDB Authority: Deep, structural understanding of the ServiceNow data model. You must have hands-on experience unifying disparate, third-party data sources into a pristine, heavily integrated CMDB, alongside mastery of ITSM modules (Problem, Change, Asset, Knowledge). Schema Extension: Proven, undeniable experience aggressively extending the ServiceNow schema to support complex custom applications and advanced dashboard/reporting matrices.
