About The Role As a Senior Pharmacist at ALPS, you will be based at one of Singapore's PublicHealthcare Institutions (PHIs), playing a strategic role in ensuring theavailability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical products and services. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will oversee medication procurement, supply continuity, inventory optimisation, and contract management to support safe and effective patient care. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with clinical pharmacists, physicians and other stakeholders to manage supply disruptions, identify alternative products and ensure continuity of patient care. Develop and manage demand forecasts and contract projections to support procurement planning, optimise inventory levels and ensure continuity of supply across healthcare institutions. Prepare and submit Approval Papers to relevant approving authorities for site-specific purchasing requirements and procurement initiatives. Conduct price benchmarking and standardisation exercises across Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs), obtain necessary approvals, establish selling prices, maintain pricing systems and communicate updates to stakeholders. Develop budget forecasts, workload projections, and utilisation analyses to support subsidy planning, resource allocation, and healthcare policy requirements, including medication utilisation reporting and verification of generic and biosimilar adoption. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits conducted by regulatory authorities and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with statutory, accreditation, and organisational requirements. Oversee the management of controlled drugs in compliance with legal and institutional requirements Maintain accurate and timely updates of material master data and pharmacy systems, including SAP and dispensing platforms, covering pricing, classifications, and subsidyinformation. Generate regular and ad hoc reports for management, cluster operations, the Ministry of Health (MOH), and the Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) to support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making. Requirements Degree in Pharmacy with minimum 5 years' of relevant professional practice experience A registered pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engaging stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge in SAP-MM Relevant experience in Procurement and inventory management of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
